Montrose to receive $94,003.84 FEMA award; council eyes street repairs

Finance Officer Nicole Siemonsma told the council the city will receive FEMA award funds of $94,003.84 for the June 2024 flood. The minutes state the funding must be expended by Feb. 15, 2026 and that the city is not permitted to earn more than $500 in interest on those funds.
