Resident urges stop sign and town safety inspection at Seventh Street intersection

"A stop sign is needed along Midsummer Lane and the stop sign on Seventh Street should be moved," Diaz said, adding he had contacted VDOT and the neighborhood developer without success and asked the town to conduct a safety inspection.
Diaz also asked the commission to look into its role in releasing the developer bond for the neighborhood. The commission did not take formal action at the meeting; commissioners noted the comment and directed staff follow-up would occur through regular town channels.
