At the start of the meeting the board considered and approved a multi-item consent agenda. The motion—moved by Mr. Pete Lara and seconded by Mr. Rudy Ruiz—approved minutes of the Aug. 14, 2025 regular meeting; ratified purchase orders for Aug. 8 through Aug. 22, 2025; ratified revised out-of-county field trip requests; ratified bids for 2025–2026 Student Nutrition Services (cold foods, dry goods, frozen foods, and supplies); and approved Personnel Report No. 0326. The motion carried with all seven trustees voting Aye.
Other personnel-related items later in the agenda included approval of Provisional Internship Permits and BCLAD waivers and an Administrative Services Waiver; those personnel and certification items were recorded separately in the minutes and also carried by unanimous votes.
