Board approves two provisional internship permits for special education positions

The permits, effective July 25, 2025, cover Alondra Jimenez as a 9–12 special education teacher at Monache High School and Nicholas Tuzon as a K–6 special education teacher at Vandalia Elementary School.
Following a review by Dr. Andy Bukosky, Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, Trustee Felipe Martinez moved to approve the permits and Trustee Pete Lara seconded the motion; the motion carried with all five members present voting aye. The action was recorded in the minutes as an approval of Provisional Internship Permits and authorized their submission. The meeting adjourned at 4:24 p.m.
