Council approves $109,000 landscaping contract to refresh Magna Main Street

Council approved the resolution and asked for a hard completion date; staff replied the work is scheduled to start mid‑May and be completed by June 15 so streetscape improvements are in place before the July 4 parade.
Councilors clarified bidding and procurement: staff noted Roth Landscaping is on a current contract and the project falls under existing contracting limits, so the city proceeded without an additional competitive bid for this specific scope. Staff will monitor progress and report completion to council.
