Union City Borough Council approves routine business, removes landbank lien and awards park contract

The Borough of Union City Council convened at 6:00 P.M. on Aug. 27, 2024, at the First Global Methodist Church. Councilor Joyce called the meeting to order, led the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence. The meeting opened under the council's vision: “The Union City area is a thriving rural community of families, businesses and organizations dedicated to encouraging growth while maintaining small town values.”
Councilors unanimously approved the agenda and minutes from the Aug. 13 meeting and accepted the secretary’s report and bills. Several routine departmental reports (July code enforcement and zoning) were reviewed with no questions. The meeting adjourned at 6:19 P.M.
