Council approved a retroactive purchase of a 2021 CFMOTO CFORCE 600 ATV with plow from Marvin Phillips for $5,000, with funding to come from the borough’s Capital Equipment fund. The vehicle will be used for plowing bridges and sidewalks, park cleanup and trash collection. Leisure Time in Corry inspected the ATV and identified only normal wear items such as air filter replacement, fluids and possibly tires and wheel bearings in the future.
The motion to ratify the purchase was moved by Councilor Joyce and seconded by Councilor Steadman; the minutes record approval. The minutes do not provide vendor warranty details or long-term maintenance budgeting for the vehicle.
