UDJAA tells Upper Dublin board it can free practice slots if gym length increases; offers up to $100k

Michael Boas, UDJAA president, said a larger court would allow UDJAA to move 4th and 5th graders and younger teams to different facilities and create roughly 30 additional practice slots that would enable earlier practice times and reduce late‑night schedules for families.
Boas told the board his organization’s board voted in favor of a conditional contribution of up to $100,000 to support a larger court, and said UDJAA would revisit a larger commitment if a feasible path to a full 84‑foot court was identified. UDJAA representatives also explained previous facility usage and why Fort Washington is not currently used often for their practices.
