MSD engineer details sidewalk and road projects, says transportation plan portal will launch this fall

Council members asked for clarification on design choices (for example, concrete vs. crushed rock in park strips along a UDOT project) and on scheduling; Anderson said some items await contractor pricing while others are in the environmental phase with UDOT and Federal Highways coordination. The council noted the posted MSD contract award and preconstruction meetings for the 9100 West sidewalk project and encouraged staff to confirm sidewalk alignments near the Veterans Memorial triangle.
