Broadway street project: east side near completion, west side paving expected in September

Public Works Director Mike Maple gave an update on the Broadway street project, reporting the east side’s excavation and subgrade work are finished and most of the required concrete is poured. He said the concrete crew should finish the east side next week and that painting could begin around Aug. 10, with west‑side paving anticipated in September.
Maple said the west side is roughly half complete on excavation and that the concrete crew would begin work there starting Aug. 10. He described the overall street program as progressing well and told the committee the planned sequence is intended to reduce rework and allow coordinated paving and concrete operations.
