The business officer described the athletic field study package for the middle and high schools with a planning/design total of $502,597 made up of four proposals: project manager T&M Associates (~$414,000), American Survey Heritage ($55,000), Roots & Environment consulting ($2,000) and David Blackmore & Associates for geotechnical work ($30,000). She said the district has approximately $2.1 million budgeted in capital projects for the field and turf work and that the current design costs come in under that budgeted amount.
The board also reviewed food service pricing (lunch increase of $0.10 for 2026-27), a purchase of 100 Dell computers for high-school tech and cybersecurity classes ($127,000), 120 USB-C headphones ($2,000) for STEAM class, and 16 Clear Touch boards with cameras and PCs and installation ($87,500). A motion to approve facilities items 13.01 through 13.06 carried 5 to 0.
