He told the Board the demolition had been reviewed by technical review committees and staff, with favorable recommendations and acceptable conditions. The Board considered the four standards for demolition review — that the permit not be detrimental to public health, safety and general welfare; conformance with objectives and policies of the comprehensive plan; no constraints to future development; and no harm to neighborhood character — and concluded the standards were satisfied.
The Board voted to approve the demolition permit for 63 Rosemeath Ave with the staff‑recommended conditions. Staff noted asbestos abatement and TRC review had been completed and that post‑demolition site treatment and recycling requirements were in the staff report.
