O’Mara said the district exceeded expectations in four of eight assessment categories and that an indicator related to school initiatives increased by one point at both schools. She reported an overall district score she described as equivalent to 92%, a two‑point improvement over the prior year. “This increase is also reflective of the steps that we take to create a culture that is inclusive and empowering to all students,” O’Mara said.
O’Mara identified areas for improvement, including adding clearer explanations of the results on the district website, and called the self‑assessment a helpful tool for intentional program improvement.
