The auditors agreed to treat the VLCT internal controls checklist as a work session at their next meeting, postponing any approval until all members (including Juanita Clay) can participate. "Since Juanita Clay is not able to be here with us today, we are going to, spend some time reviewing the internal financial checklist as a work meeting," the Chair said.
The board set its next meeting for Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Proposed agenda items include approving the March meeting minutes, reviewing interim financial controls, discussing school trust funds, and following up on the Hubbard Brothers reconciliation. The auditors also noted that Anita will be unable to attend several upcoming meetings.
