BCA chair calls meeting; officers nominated and minutes approved

The acting Chair called the meeting to order and read the attendee list, naming Pat Hemingway, Terry Redfield, Sherry Tornay, Meredith Morgan, Herb Childress, Robin Chestnut Tangerman, Chris Fenton, Patty Kenyon, Isaac Yackel and Carl Haines. The Chair said, "I am acting as the chair because I was the chair last year," and opened nominations for officers.
The Chair nominated Herb Childress for chair. Nominations followed for vice chair and clerk; members voiced "Aye" on each nomination. The Chair also moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting dated 07/10/2025; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The meeting then turned to preparations for the upcoming town meeting and related election logistics.
