The City of Jenkinsburg Council convened on Feb. 23, 2026. Mayor Eddie Ford called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. with a quorum present. Council adopted the meeting agenda on a motion by Council Member Gary Roberts, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts; the recorded votes were all in favor.
Council approved the Jan. 12, 2026 minutes on a motion by Council Member Gary Brown, seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts. Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts moved to accept the December 2025 and January 2026 financial reports; the council approved those reports as presented. The minutes record a discussion about the city's firetruck but state that no action was required on that topic during this meeting.
Mayor Eddie Ford led the pledge of allegiance; council member Gary Brown offered the invocation. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m. The minutes were recorded by City Clerk Debi Smith.
