Council reviews CIP items, confirms Oliver and Anderson work is active

Council and staff reviewed the city Capital Improvement Program and confirmed that the Oliver and Anderson project is active this year with bids approved. Presenter (S2) and council members noted that the project appears on the older CIP list but that a vote at a recent meeting authorized work to proceed this year.

Members discussed staging of park plan phases and play-equipment upgrades, and the K‑254 corridor development as a priority for the next two years. Presenter reiterated that CIP items on the list may be carried over from earlier plans and that staff will clarify the current bid status and schedule for each project.

Council asked staff to break the water and sewer master plan into stages and to show what projects are funded versus what remains to be bid. Members emphasized the need to align CIP timing with utility capacity and funding availability before committing to additional phases.
