The Colfax City Council took three formal votes during its Sept. 2 meeting.
Councilmember Golden moved and Councilmember Guenthner seconded approval of the Aug. 18, 2025 meeting minutes; roll call: all yes. Councilmember Schaefer moved and Councilmember Mackleit seconded approval of bills and claims as presented; payroll, EFT and claims totaled $224,656.58. Councilmember Golden moved and Councilmember Huntwork seconded adoption of Resolution 25-17, the lodging-tax application for event signage; roll call: all yes. All three measures passed unanimously.
No votes were recorded on the Colfax–Pullman trail question raised by a county candidate during the meeting, and no motions to refer that matter to staff or legal counsel were made during this session.
