The Rogue River City Council on Feb. 26 approved Resolution 26-1468-R to update committee rules and add a Fire District Liaison position, a change brought forward by Councilor Barb Gregory. The motion carried with all councilors voting yes (Davis, Howell, Hilty, Moss, Gregory).
Following the resolution’s adoption, the council approved Mayor Pam VanArsdale’s appointment of City Councilor Grace Howell to serve as the Fire District Liaison. The appointment motion was seconded and passed unanimously, making Howell the new liaison between the city and local fire-district officials.
