County Engineer Dillon Davenport reported operational updates to the board at the July 7 meeting. He said a backhoe with a mulcher head is operating south of Cambria and that the durapatcher crew is working on west Old Hwy 2 before moving to east Old Hwy 2 and other pavements. Two mowers were also operating throughout the county.
Davenport told supervisors that the S60 highway north of Seymour is closed to traffic and will remain so until the mid–late part of July. He said subdrains and shoulder rocking should be completed this week and the crew will then move on to striping.
