Finance Director Kristen Reed presented Ordinance 2841, the first budget amendment for fiscal year 2026. Reed said she made small changes between readings, notably adding $35,000 for two digital reader boards to be paid from the street fund and allocated across IT funds by the same percentage used in the IT budget.
"We added an additional $35,000 for 2 digital reader boards," Reed said, and noted that the amendment will bring Fund 35 (the Facilities Fund) below the city’s reserve policy. Reed said she executed a one‑time transfer to address an IT‑fund policy constraint and is available for follow‑up questions.
Committee recommended approval; council moved, seconded and adopted the ordinance on second reading with no recorded objections.
