"It does not, councilman. So I have asked, President Button to wait so that way we can get at least 6 months worth of collections from that wheel tax under our belt to give a good projection for the rest of the year... So far we've collected more than enough to cover our bond payment, which is great, but I'm just being a little bit conservative. So this portion is coming directly from CIB funds," Commissioner Moore said.
The motion was moved by Commissioner Moore and seconded by Councilman Reykos; a roll call recorded seven votes in favor and no dissent. The board indicated this $1,000,000 allocation follows prior practice of drawing on CIB funds for annual resurfacing and that staff will revisit additional funding if wheel tax receipts meet projections.
No specific list of street segments or construction start dates was given during the meeting; staff were directed to manage contract execution and scheduling with Milestone Contractors LP.
