Council members also approved technical-support and maintenance for PI historian software ($89,441.02), Barracuda cloud email protection and archiving ($56,952), purchase of a vacuum pump assembly ($86,160.47) and a multi-vendor supplemental electrical staffing contract capped at $9,000,000 over three years.
Aldermen asked clarifying questions about the staffing contract's scope and whether city crews would still be used; staff said the contractor pool supplements—not replaces—city crews and that expenditures are not guaranteed if storms do not require contractor call‑outs. All items passed on consent voice votes.
