At the July 27 meeting the Morgan County Board of Zoning Appeals recorded two formal approvals.
Special exception SE-26-06: Approved unanimously. Petition by Sean Walls to operate an embroidery/apparel business at 4395 Ennis Road in Green Township. Staff recommended approval after finding the request met the six required UDO findings.
Use variance U-26-07: Approved unanimously with three conditions. Petition by Jason Saladin to construct an accessory pole barn and store two food trucks and a trailer at 10612 North Mann Road in Madison Township. Conditions read into the record require (1) trucks to be parked inside the pole barn whenever on site, (2) no commercial signage on the property, and (3) no automotive repairs that may be disruptive to nearby neighbors. The health department and staff supported conditional approval; board members voted to approve by voice vote.
No board or attorney reports required additional action; the meeting closed after a brief staff report introducing interim attorney Grace Terrell.
