Jackson County approved Order No. 185-26 authorizing a services contract with Rogue Food Unites, a partner of local food suppliers and restaurants, to provide meals and water during emergency shelter operations following disasters. Senior Deputy County Administrator Joel Benton summarized the vendor’s role in supporting shelter operations.
Commissioner Rick Dyer read the Order by title; Commissioner Randy Sparacino moved to approve the Order and Commissioner Colleen Roberts seconded. The Board recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the contract and the motion passed.
