Warrick County accepts $20,000 FEP grant addendum for health department

Commissioners were told the department used a prior $20,000 award to purchase vaccine coolers, laptops for documentation, an automated external defibrillator for the disaster trailer, and replacement tents.
A county official confirmed the current addendum is for $20,000 for the new budget period; a commissioner moved to approve the addendum and the board voted in favor. Health-department staff said they had not yet received a DocuSign packet from the state but had contacted the state to request the contract document for signature.
Commissioners voted to approve the addendum so the department can continue similar purchases and operations into the current budget period.
