Sewer board approves $60,266.67 share of $180,800 public-works paving and stormwater project

“My recommendation is the following...Total project cost a $180,800,” Tony said, summarizing his preferred combination of H2O Plumbing for piping and American Paving for pavement work. Board members discussed grading and the potential for sewer-plant runoff to remain on-site, and emphasized the need to secure timelines so the work can be completed before winter.
Mark Watnick moved to approve the sewer board’s portion of the proposal, not to exceed $60,266.67, conditioned on approval by the other two boards; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The approval is conditional: work may proceed only after the stormwater and town council portions are approved and contractors confirm schedules. The board did not set a firm start date for paving but Tony said the plumbing contractor could probably start within weeks.
