South Shore board holds Oct. 23 special meeting; approves permit and resolution

The Town of South Shore held a special board meeting Oct. 23 at the Community Center. Mayor J. Dolen called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; attendees included Members S. Schmeichel and S. Johanson and Finance Officer Zirbel.
On procedural business the board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by S. Johanson, seconded by S. Schmeichel, with the motion passing unanimously. The board then approved a building permit and variance for T. Huffman after the applicant said the moved-in structure would receive improvements and the town office recorded no complaints. The board read and adopted Town Resolution 2024-10-23 (Whitney Replating) on a motion by Mayor J. Dolen, seconded by S. Johanson; the record states the motion passed unanimously.
With no further business, the board adjourned at 6:37 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. "Motion passed unanimously" appears repeatedly in the meeting record as each action was adopted without dissent.
