President J. Dolen presented a list of maintenance work needed at the community center and town garage — including replacing the town garage door, nine interior corners at the community center that need cutting, retaping, mudding and painting, installing a new ballpark sign, and weed spraying. He estimated the work would take about 30 hours and cost roughly $1,500 to hire Off Grid Solutions to complete.
"Time is estimated at 30 hours. Estimated cost is $1,500.00 to hire Off Grid Solutions to complete the work," the minutes state. R. Ott moved and S. Johanson seconded a motion to complete the list at the estimated cost; J. Dolen did not vote and the motion passed with two votes.
The minutes do not specify contract terms, start date or payment schedule; the board approved proceeding at the estimate and further administrative work on contracting and scheduling will be handled by town staff.
