The Town Board of South Shore approved warrants totaling $14,755.15 at its May 12, 2026 regular meeting after Finance Officer Michelle Zirbel presented the town's fund balances.
Zirbel listed account balances including a General Fund balance of $90,227.25, a Water Fund balance of $77,283.68, and a Sewer Fund balance of $121,239.05; outstanding sewer loan principal was listed as $75,400.64. "The financial report reflected the following fund balances: General Fund $90,227.25; Water Fund $77,283.68; Water Surcharge Fund $59,787.00; Sewer Fund $121,239.05; Sewer Surcharge fund, $39,800.97; Water deposits $2,400.00; CD’s $33,443.23," the minutes state.
After presentation of the warrants and account details, a motion to approve the warrants was made and passed by unanimous vote. Approved warrant items listed in the minutes include legal and labor costs, utilities, supplier invoices, and a donation for a weed project at the lake among others.
