The work includes raising 183 manholes and 20 cleanouts, grading concrete collars, and installing District‑provided sealed lids to improve system integrity and meet the District's Cease‑and‑Desist Order No. R6V‑2013‑0022 requirements.
Staff recommended awarding the construction contract to Tryco General Engineering for $288,821 with a contingency allowance up to 15%, producing a projected construction total of $332,044 and an overall project estimate of $459,410 (including $20,218 for engineering and inspection and $107,148 for manhole frames and covers procured previously). The Board approved the award and authorized the General Manager to approve change orders as needed.
