General Manager Catherine Cerri reported to the Executive Committee that the Trinity portion of Corporation Yard Project No. 177 is nearing completion and that the final inspection was scheduled for the following day. The original contract totaled $3,266,000 and carried an authorized 10% contingency. Change orders to date amount to 8.3 percent, and one outstanding change order remains under negotiation; if the inspection is approved, the Board will have the opportunity to accept the project as complete at its September meeting.
Engineering Manager Mr. Schroder will confirm the final cost figures in his staff report to the Board. The committee did not take a formal vote on acceptance during the Executive Committee meeting; the matter is slated for Board action pending final inspection and resolution of the remaining change order.
