City administrator Gensby and finance staff (Andrews) reported that the city held a bond sale the morning of the meeting and received multiple bids for temporary notes to fund the Eppmann Drive project and 61st Street widening. Andrews explained the sale results and staff recommended accepting the low bid.
On a motion to accept the low bid and authorize the mayor to execute the necessary documents, the council voted 4–0 in favor. Council then moved to adopt Resolution No. 26801, establishing terms and provisions governing the city’s General Obligation Temporary Notes, Series A, 2026; that motion also passed 4–0.
Andrews told the council the sale produced an interest-cost outcome that allowed staff to refine the final numbers recorded in the resolution. The council asked no substantive changes and approved the motions as presented.
