The Starksboro Selectboard met in a special session on May 19, 2026. Koran Cousino called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. at the Starksboro Town Clerk's office and the board recorded members present: Carin McCarthy, Eric Cota, David Schmidt and Koran Cousino; Tony Porter was absent.
Selectboard member Carin McCarthy moved that the board enter executive session pursuant to 1 VSA 313(a)(1)(3) to discuss personnel matters; Eric Cota seconded and the motion passed. After exiting the executive session—again on a motion by McCarthy seconded by Cota—the board directed Eric Cota to follow up with a candidate discussed during the closed session. The board then voted to adjourn; the minutes were submitted as "Respectfully submitted, Amanda Vincent, Town Administrator," and are listed as unapproved.
