LACSD reports water use down 2% year-over-year, about 15% under budget

The Committee was told overall water usage is approximately 15% under budget, a figure staff attributed to reduced leaks and decreased water loss following maintenance and system improvements. Staff indicated these improvements contributed to the district meeting its efficiency objectives for the year.
