Lake Arrowhead CSD: water deliveries down but revenue rose as leaks fell
Summary
The Executive Committee was told potable water use fell to its lowest levels since the 1970s, with a 6% drop in water delivered and a 2% decline in metered consumption year‑over‑year, while water sales revenue increased, driven in part by reduced losses from fewer leaks.

The Lake Arrowhead Community Services District Executive Committee heard staff report that potable water usage fell to its lowest level since the 1970s and that annual water deliveries declined 6% year‑over‑year. Vice President John Wurm moved and President Steve Boydston approved the meeting minutes before the discussion began.
General Manager Catherine Cerri summarized staff findings: metered customer consumption declined about 2% and staff attributed much of the decrease to reduced water loss from fewer leaks. The Operations Manager also noted that, despite reduced consumption, water sales revenue increased over the prior year. The agenda previewed a full Operations Manager’s report to the board covering reservoir levels and storm impacts.
The board will receive 4th quarter reports from the Engineering Manager, Field Operations Manager and Human Resources Manager at the January board meeting. The minutes recorded that the district saw 14 new water connections in 2025 compared with 16 in the prior year.
