The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners on July 21 approved payment of current claims for the general bank account in the amount of $120,369.93 under motion FA-097-26. The motion was moved by Commissioner Bill Sarkella and seconded by Commissioner Roger Ballard; the board recorded that the motion carried.
In a separate motion (FA-099-26) the board approved additional general fund bank account charges for June 2026 totaling $2,602,854.86, consisting of $775,131.58 in ACH payments and $1,827,723.28 in checks. Commissioner Sarkella moved the motion and Commissioner Gary Heberling seconded; the motion carried as recorded in the minutes.
Both motions carried without a detailed roll-call vote in the minutes. No public comment was made on these items.
