Staff reported that a ribbon-cutting date for Freewater Park has not been set because of weather and the need to schedule striping equipment; staff said they will advise the committee once a date is determined. The committee also discussed the need to coordinate facility improvements with user groups in advance to ensure projects are budgeted and staffed.
The March 17 meeting minutes record that a motion to approve February 3 minutes carried 4–0. The minutes of the March 17 meeting were subsequently approved at the April 21 meeting (motion by John Mitchell, seconded by Ryan Westman) and included a note amending the tennis court update: staff later confirmed the Oregon State Athletic Association would allow both tennis and pickleball lines when the Yantis Park courts are replaced.
