Supervisors flag yard encroachment on EDRA and irrigation break at Hole 11

During the operations update, Supervisor Michael Walsh reported observing a residence on Pond 16 that installed a pool and a cage and said from the tee box it appeared construction was encroaching on the EDRA and that significant damage occurred to the bank. Staff responded that homeowners are responsible for damage and that staff will monitor the area and address issues with the homeowner when work is complete.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan noted a white structure on Hole 11 and Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz said a temporary dam was built to address an irrigation break. Separately, Supervisor Carol Vaughan requested installation of another bench near the front property and Paleo Park; Mr. Gatz agreed to meet onsite to determine placement.
The board did not take a formal vote on enforcement during the meeting; staff will follow up with homeowners and contractors as work progresses.
