Lemon Grove to continue street and sidewalk repairs with $4 million allocation

Mayor Allison Snow said Lemon Grove repaired ‘‘more streets than ever’’ last year and laid out a plan to continue repairs in 2026. "We repaired 61 street segments," Snow said, adding that 27 of those were among the worst-rated stretches and that 37 of the 107 most deteriorated streets have been completed since 2024.
Snow said the city’s public-works department filled 1,902 potholes and repaired over 5,200 square feet of sidewalks while replacing 62 curb ramps to improve accessibility. She said an additional $4,000,000 has been allocated in the 2026 budget for street repairs and nearly $750,000 is set aside for sidewalks guided by the city's sidewalk master plan.
The mayor framed the work as a continuation of Measure T-funded investments aimed at addressing long-standing infrastructure backlogs and improving accessibility for residents of all ages.
