Mayor Allison Snow delivered Lemon Grove’s 2026 State of the City address, highlighting a year of infrastructure repairs, new homelessness interventions and programs to support small businesses. "This past year in Lemon Grove, we repaired more streets than ever," Snow said, noting that 61 street segments were fixed and dozens of the worst-rated streets addressed.
Snow credited Measure T sales-tax revenue and city staff for enabling projects from street and sidewalk repairs to storm-drain work. She described partnerships with neighboring cities, the county and state agencies to address homelessness, and announced budget allocations for continued street work and targeted homelessness-diversion funds. The mayor also praised community volunteers and new cultural programming as part of a broader effort to revitalize downtown activity.
Snow recognized local leaders and officials in attendance and closed with a call for unity and cooperation across political differences. The program included an invocation, a musical performance and brief remarks by interim city manager Tony Winnie.
