The Heritage Pines CDD Board on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025‑05 approving updates to the Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement.
Chair Kathleen Lonergan presented the resolution. District Manager Chuck Adams said the agreement had been previously approved and that the updated terms reflect administrative changes; he noted the district is more likely to receive aid from other governmental entities than to provide aid. The board adopted the resolution unanimously on a motion by Michael Walsh, seconded by Carol Vaughan.
The agreement provides a framework for intergovernmental assistance during emergencies; staff will retain the executed document per district records.
