The Heritage Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025‑03 to approve a proposed Operation & Maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room.
District Manager Chuck Adams said the proposed FY2026 budget is similar to FY2025 but "the net effect is a reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations compared to Fiscal Year 2025," and that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by about $2.88 per unit year‑over‑year. Chair Kathleen Lonergan presented the resolution and the board voted unanimously to adopt it on a motion by Supervisor Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan.
The board did not change the budget's structure; Adams reviewed specific increases, decreases and adjustments and said the district will publish required transmittals and notices under Florida law ahead of the July public hearing. The hearing will provide an opportunity for residents to comment on the budget before final adoption.
The board also directed staff to handle posting and publication requirements in accordance with statute and confirmed the July 15 hearing location as the Heritage Pines Country Club meeting room.
