The Board had reviewed three A‑Z proposals: cleanup and trim behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive for $350; removal with stump grind behind that same property for $600; and forestry mulch around a pond at Waterlily Lane and Rolling Hills Loop for $5,475. The stump‑grind motion specifically addressed a resident report that a damaged tree and a debris pile on CDD property near 11453 Heritage Point Drive posed a hazard. Stephen Putman inspected the site and photographed the debris prior to the vote.
District Manager Chuck Adams and grounds staff had earlier explained the difference between the A‑Z approach and the Environmental Solutions (ES) proposal, with ES relying on more handwork and A‑Z proposing forestry mulching for some locations. The approved $600 stump‑grind is limited to the property behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive and does not authorize the larger $5,475 forestry mulching project elsewhere.
