Operations update: bench at Paleo Park, mowing adjustments and EDRA construction permits

Chair Kathleen Lonergan asked whether an additional bench had been installed in Paleo Park; Grounds Superintendent Tim Gatz said he would ask Gary and follow up. Gatz confirmed mowing schedules for different retention areas were adjusted and that it would take time to evaluate whether the changes were sufficient. Regarding a previously raised concern about a homeowner’s construction encroaching on the EDRA, Gatz said the homeowner obtained the proper permits and staff will wait until construction is finished to determine whether erosion issues arise.
No action was taken; supervisors asked staff to report back after inspections and after the contractor completes work in the EDRA.
