Administrative staff announced a workshop to be held Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. in the chambers; the session will invite stakeholders to discuss what kinds of medical services (including ambulance coverage) the community needs and how to sustain them. Staff said the meeting notice would be posted and invited board members and the public to participate.
Staff also announced one currently open board seat and two additional vacancies effective Jan. 1, for a total of three upcoming openings. Board members encouraged interested residents to contact county commissioners about serving on the hospital district board.
