The Pleasant Grove City Council approved Payments No. 17 and No. 18 to Big‑D for the Cook Family Park Project at a special meeting on May 12, 2025. Mayor Guy L. Fugal called the meeting to order at 12:31 p.m.; Councilmembers Dianna Andersen and Cyd LeMone were excused.
Neal Winterton, Public Works Director, told the council the payments related to the Cook Family Park Project and that "getting through the review process took a while, as lots of concrete testing took place and all tickets were reviewed." Winterton also expressed appreciation for the crew and contractors who worked on the project. Winterton did not specify dollar amounts in the presentation.
Council Member Todd Williams moved to approve Payments No. 17 and No. 18 to Big‑D; Council Member Steve Rogers seconded. The recorded vote listed Rogers Yes; Eric Jensen Yes; and Todd Williams Yes; Councilmembers Dianna Andersen and Cyd LeMone were noted as absent. The motion carried among members present. The council adjourned at 12:34 p.m. after a motion from Council Member Eric Jensen, seconded by Williams.
