City Attorney Christina Petersen presented a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a quit claim deed in favor of Michael and Kori Richins for property near 642 South 780 East to correct an earlier legal description that had resulted in excess right‑of‑way. Petersen displayed an aerial image showing the area to be dedicated to the City via the Richins subdivision plat and the portion to be returned to the owners; she said the property had been deeded to the City when a cul‑de‑sac was constructed but that the City does not need the surplus area and will return it via the quit claim.
Council Member Dianna Andersen moved to approve Resolution 2025‑019 and Council Member Cyd LeMone seconded the motion; the Council approved the resolution unanimously.
