He explained that chip sealing is typically followed by light sweeping and compaction by vehicle traffic and that roads slated for utility replacement are held for reconstruction rather than chip sealing.
Winterton also confirmed work beginning on Windsong Drive and 1520 West to replace utilities, reported that a disconnected water service at the pump track was repaired, and noted the splash pad’s initial inspection was scheduled for May 23. He said Pleasant Grove administered an approximately $10 million American Fork Canyon Weir project.
