Council approves Timpanogos Library Consortium MOU to expand shared catalog and courier services

Library and Arts Director Sheri Britsch presented the Timpanogos Library Consortium Memorandum of Understanding that links the Pleasant Grove, Highland and American Fork library catalogs and provides courier service among the three libraries. Under the agreement, patrons may place holds on items owned by either partner library and have them delivered to their local branch through weekly courier runs (recently increased to two days per week for six total weekly deliveries across the consortium).
Council Member Todd Williams moved to approve Resolution 2025-022 authorizing the Mayor to sign the MOU; Council Member Eric Jensen seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Director Britsch emphasized that programs remain run by each library locally, but materials access and circulation will be coordinated through the consortium.
